I like the idea of Dumbledore being manipulative not because he's evil, but because his mind is giving out on him, so to him, everything he is doing makes perfect sense. He's gotten to the point in his life where he no longer really looks for answers; such as the destruction of a horcrux, other than what he already has. Randumbdave Shouted: I've been bugging zArkham about 'Strike Like a Marauder', apparently he doesn't have enough time to update recently because of work issues. Pity, that's another H/Hr/L story, hence me likey. Randumbdave Shouted: I talk extensively with Paladeus, so I knew when he posted that little update. Love how he killed Snape >:D And I just plain like H/Hr/L stories. His people interactions are quite good, especially since the three of them are dealing with a non-standard relationship archetype. Randumbdave Shouted: Yeah, I wish. The only thing I like about ffnet is the little thing you can do that makes the background grey instead of white. I find it easier to read like that, doesn't strain my eyes so much. That's why I read Maturity there instead of here. Driver Jim Ohki Shouted: There you are Dave, updates! News Minimum Word Count & New Submission Rules
There is now a 1,000 word minimum for chapters to be able to post. #10: As of 4-10-2012 a 1,000 word mimimum is required to post chapters. Excessive use of filler/nonsense/garbage/whatever to meet the mimimum will be grounds to have the chapter/story/account deleted WITHOUT notice. #11: Author notes are to be placed in the "Chapter Notes" (top of story) and/or the "End Notes" (bottom of story) and NOT in the story text itself. A small occasional A/N somewhere during the chapter will be fine as long as it is not excessive. (Added 4-12-2012) Thanks, Mobile Skin
Someone asked for a mobile skin for the site so I uploaded one. It is available in skin change menu above. I'll work on it a bit more as time permits but I don't have a lot of that right now. If anyone is using a mobile device please let me know how this works and if there are any ~MAJOR~ problems that need fixing right away. Thanks, New Submission Guidelines
I will be working on new rules for the site. For now the guidelines are that most stories will be acceptable here with the exception of extreme underage/adult sex stories. Any complaints about stories will be reviewed and a decision to allow or remove will be made on a case by case basis. If you have questions as to if your story will be acceptable here or not then email me. Give me a brief summary of the story and what you are concerned with as to why you think it may not be acceptable and I will give you an answer.
